Podcasts and long-form conversations need intelligible voices, minimal room splash and a recording that does not stop every time someone sets down a glass. Mormonyra runs a dedicated setup with up to 4 seats, treated enough for dialogue without feeling like a vintage radio booth. An engineer handles levels, monitoring and a safety recording.
Podcast and dialogue recording serves interview shows, internal comms, non-fiction makers, researchers who want a neutral room, and companies without an in-house studio but steady audio standards. Take raw files to your editor or ask for basic assembly — define scope before the session.

Planning
Share format, duration, guest count and deliverables. We reply within 2 business days with availability and hourly or session pricing.

Setup
Mic per speaker, headphones where needed, table layout and level check. Short soundcheck before the real conversation.

Record
Capture the talk on isolated tracks plus a safety stereo mix. Breaks and retakes are normal.

Deliver
Raw or lightly edited: per-speaker WAV and/or MP3, plus a combined mix for quick upload if agreed.
Room and layout
The podcast corner uses table or broadcast arm mics on a round table, with panels that tame flutter and room tone. Up to 4 people sit comfortably; larger panels move to the live room only when the show needs it and space allows. The engineer sits separately so guests can face each other without ignoring someone behind glass.
We are at Haarlemmerweg 178 in Westerpark — Tram 3 stops at Marnixstraat; from there it is about a 4-minute walk west along Haarlemmerweg to number 178. From Amsterdam Centraal it is roughly a 10-minute walk via Haarlemmerdijk and Haarlemmerweg.. Out-of-town guests get the address and contact details for delays.
Formats we fit
Interview podcasts, panels, internal Q&A, documentary voice that will sit under picture later, training series with a fixed intro/outro added in post. We do not host live audience streams in studio unless safety and tech are agreed upfront.
Minimum participant age 16; younger guests by arrangement. Music podcasts with live instruments fit ensemble recording or vocal sessions better — ask [email protected] if unsure.
Editing and scope
Session rate €280 covers up to two hours raw in studio with engineer and basic edit: trim silences, cut obvious false starts, one continuous mix for review. Heavy production — music beds, jingles, deep noise reduction, chapter marks for every platform — sits outside standard and bills hourly or by quote.
Hourly €78 suits runs that exceed the two-hour block or extra edit time at the desk. Offline edit revisions follow 2 rounds where a montage package was booked; pure recording hours do not include mix revisions unless added.
Files and turnaround
Default delivery is mono 24-bit WAV per speaker plus a combined stereo WAV; MP3 on request for editors. Files go by secure link; we keep them 24 months then delete unless extended.
Raw-only can leave same day on your SSD. Light edit within a few business days after session, depending on length. Platform LUFS targets for Spotify or Apple Podcasts are discussed at intake — default is natural dialogue levels without aggressive limiting.

Consumer prices include 21% VAT. Business invoicing ex VAT with 14-day terms available.

Guest prep
Send a rundown with topics and rough timing. Guests need no tech experience; avoid noisy jewellery and rustling clothes. Water on table is fine — we use soft bottles.

Privacy and rights
Conversations may contain personal data. We process recordings under privacy policy and can sign a data processing agreement for business clients. You remain responsible for guest consent and what goes online.

FAQ
How many people at the table?
Standard setup seats up to 4 speakers. More than four needs custom planning — email contact with your format.
Raw only or edited?
Either. Session package €280 includes basic edit; hourly €78 suits raw-only if you cut in your own DAW.
Is video available?
Core service is audio. Simple static camera may be possible by arrangement; not full video production. Priority stays on clean dialogue tracks.
Can we dial in a remote guest?
Hybrid via Zoom or Riverside is possible, but quality depends on the guest connection. For critical quotes we prefer in-studio or async home recording from the guest.
What if we run over?
Extra studio time bills at €78 if the calendar allows. Plan buffer — two hours raw is a guide, not a hard mid-sentence stop.
